Detailed Product Information:
This former estate in the prestigious Pessac-Léognan appellation, which belonged to the famous Baron Haussmann in the 19th century, was bought by Laurent Cisneros in 2010. Completely restored and back in the spotlight, Château de Rouillac is now one of the jewels in the appellation's crown, with a strong commitment to farming that is more respectful of its environment and to viticulture that combines the traditions of great wines with the modernity of a new century. Over 50% of the vineyard is worked using animal traction, with draught horses kept in the estate's magnificent stables. The Rose des Vents (Wind Rose), which is very much in evidence on the estate, symbolises the path taken by Laurent Cisneros and his family.
